--Zygi Wilf, who took over as the Vikings owner in 2005, saw his team win its first NFC North championship under his leadership on Sunday. "It's exciting," Wilf said. "We are very proud of everyone here and the whole organization. We are especially happy for our fans, who endured many years of struggle and frustration, but finally we jumped that hurdle and won our first NFC North division title. So we are very excited to be where we are at right now and we'll move on to the postseason."
--QB Tarvaris Jackson on the amount of blitzes he faced from the Giants on Sunday: "That was the most that we have seen. We pretty much knew they were going to do that, because they are in the playoffs and they were going to try and give other teams stuff to work on. We knew they were going to bring the house and they did. That is part of their defensive strategy."
--Chad Greenway knows some Vikings fans were calling for Brad Childress to be fired earlier this season, but the linebacker said the head coach did an excellent job. "We had fire Childress chants mid-season and we hear that and we have our coach's back," Greenway said. "He takes care of us and all of these coaches have. We came together as a unit and they have had our back week in and week out. They continued to push us when we needed to be pushed and take care of when we needed to be taken care of and put us in a position where we can be in this situation now."
