Under the Bleachers: Al Davis isn't crazy
Welcome to Under the Bleachers, where the best NFL writers from Bleacher Report give their unique take on the latest action.

Al Davis is Not Crazy!

We know, that in itself sounds crazy. But hear us out -- nobody would've predicted that guys like Javon Walker would crash, lots of people second-guessed JaMarcus Russell, and Al is everyone's favorite scapegoat. But insane? Well, OK ... maybe just a little.

Around and Around T.O. Goes ...

And where he stops? The Pats? Vikings? Titans? We have a few good ideas. But so do Tony Romo and Jason Witten. That's right, Terrell -- did you really think you could get away that easily? They're still pulling all the strings. (Insert diabolical cackle here.)

The Best of the Backs

Forget work and get a head start on research for your fantasy football draft with our list of the top 10 running backs. Is L.T. really back? Can Adrian Peterson learn to hold onto a ball? Is L.J. even good enough to make the list? Hint: not even close.

All Clear for the Chargers in the AFC West

For now. But JaMarcus Russell is coming into his own for the Raiders and the Chiefs just picked up Cassel and Vrabel for peanuts. Who knows? Maybe Bill Belichick will go nuts and unload Brady and Moss to the Broncos for a third-round draft pick.

Quintin is as Quintin Does

The two Quintins show a lot potential at safety -- Mikell especially is ready for a break-out year. But is that enough to get Philly fans to stop weeping over the loss of their precious Brian Dawkins? No one can replace Weapon X.
